During her nearly nine years of service to GlobeMed, Alyssa has shaped and sharpened core elements of our programs and organization. Her career has grown from being a chapter leader at George Washington University, Director of Partnerships at GlobeMed’s Global Headquarters, to Executive Director. She’s led GlobeMed’s growth to 58 chapters, formed robust training programs for student leaders, established our regional partner forum program, strengthened our global health partnerships, and represented the organization in thought leading circles around the world.
“My time at GlobeMed has been the most transformative experience I could have asked for. From the relationships I’ve built to the skills I’ve gained and leadership lessons I’ve learned, I will be forever indebted to this organization for making me who I am. I can’t wait to apply the experiences GlobeMed has offered me to continue advancing health equity and social justice in the next phase of my career.”

While it is bittersweet for us to see her leave her role, we are thrilled to follow her in the next chapter of her career. She will remain a pillar of our larger GlobeMed family, as a role model and leader who shaped the enduring legacy of the organization.”
