About
GlobeMed's network of university chapters and grassroots partner organizations is coordinated and sustained by a Global Headquarters, located at Northwestern University.

GlobeMed Global Headquarters Staff

A team of full-time and student staff work day-to-day to support and advance the organization’s work and operations. The GlobeMed Global Headquarters provides chapter advising, support and training; platforms for best practice sharing and collaboration; annual network-wide global health and leadership development conferences; and partner recruitment, selection, matching, and evaluation.

WHY GLOBAL HEALTH?
Global health is a complex network that includes access to education, economics, food, environment, gender equity, etc. and to engage with this web reminds us of the inextricable link between health and rights. To fully engage with these systems we must build partnerships and collaborate with individuals who are most affected and only then can we make long-term, sustainable change.

WHY GLOBEMED?

WHY GLOBEMED?
GlobeMed, I believe, is one of the most relevant and compassionate forms of social justice I have ever encountered in my life. Its entire mission is based in anti-oppression and understanding people living in poverty around the world must been supported with resources and opportunities by those in position of power to ever improve their health. This sits so well with me, and it drives my work as a fellow for GlobeMed.
