GlobeMed is a national organization of university students building a movement to advance global health equity. The GlobeMed Network currently includes 18 chapters at university campuses throughout the country and a small central office in Evanston, IL
Chapters are at the heart of GlobeMed's model of engaging students to make an impact in the health of communities around the world. Each Chapter partners with a grassroots organization in a developing country to collaborate on specific projects, organize educational programs organize a global health curriculum on campus, and lead trips to work with partners in communities abroad.
GlobeMed's Central Staff trains student-leaders, organizes network-wide programs and events, and provides financial and legal services for Chapters. The Central Staff is composed primarily of recent graduates and students.
