About the Partnership
Logan Square Neighborhood Association (LSNA) is a community-based organization focused on advancing diversity, leader development, and models for engagement as the catalyst for social justice. Founded in 1962, LSNA is a nonprofit, multi-issue, grassroots community organization serving the multi-ethnic communities of Logan Square and the Lathrop Homes area of Chicago.
Its mission is to convene networks of neighbors, schools, businesses, social service agencies, faith communities, and other organizations to collaborate for thriving communities in Logan Square, Avondale, and Lathrop Homes. LSNA is committed to empowering and maintaining these communities as diverse, safe, and affordable neighborhoods in which to live and work, learn and grow.
GlobeMed at Wilbur Wright aims to work with Logan Square Neighborhood Association to raise awareness of the issues happening within Chicago and issues in other parts of the U.S. Specifically, the partnership hopes to bring solutions to combat increasing property taxes. This will ensure that homeowners or renters can live free of fear of losing their home and neighborhood to the raising taxes.
